About the directory

The Tri-Cities Ride Directory is part of Explore East Tennessee. It lists passenger transportation for Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. It is independent, it is not the airport’s official transportation service, and it is not a complete list of every provider.

Ownership and order

The directory’s owner also operates Rides With Dan. That listing is labeled, and its active status is owner confirmed rather than independently verified. Listings appear alphabetically. No one pays for placement. Read the full disclosure.

What the evidence labels mean

Owner confirmed

Supplied by the directory’s owner about their own business. This is not independent verification.

Current official source checked

An official page was reviewed on the date shown. This does not prove the service is available today.

Details require confirmation

Reported in research and not rechecked. Treat these as leads and confirm before relying on them.

What a listing does not tell you

Operating status, evidence and airport service are recorded separately, so one does not imply another. The directory does not verify licensing, insurance or qualifications. “Unknown” accessibility means it was not recorded, not that a provider has no accessible vehicles. Sources can go out of date, so contact the provider first.

Older business names and listings with conflicting contact details are kept out of the public directory until they can be resolved.
